Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("you", "your", "User") and Goletro Technologies Pvt Ltd ("Goletro", "we", "us", "our") governing your access to and use of Goletro and any related services, websites, and applications (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

Definitions

  • "Goletro" refers to the application deployment platform, accessible, accessible at app.goletro.com.
  • "Service" refers to Goletro and all related websites, APIs, documentation, and support services provided by Goletro.
  • "Account" means the unique account you create to access the Service.
  • "Workspace" means a collaborative environment within your Goletro account that may include invited team members.
  • "User Content" means any data, configurations, credentials, code, or other content you submit to or through the Service.
  • "Server" means any virtual machine, VPS, dedicated server, or cloud instance you connect to Goletro.
  • "Subscription" means a paid plan that grants access to specific Service features as described on the pricing page.

Eligibility and account creation

  • You must be at least 16 years of age to use Goletro. If you are using Goletro on behalf of a company or organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
  • You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information up to date.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must not share your password with others. Team collaboration is supported through workspace invitations.
  • You are fully responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, whether or not authorised by you.
  • Goletro reserves the right to refuse registration or cancel accounts at its sole discretion, including for suspected Terms violations.
  • Each person may maintain only one free account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits is prohibited.

Service description

  • Goletro is an application deployment platform that allows you to connect your own servers, deploy containerised and non-containerised applications, manage domains and SSL certificates, monitor server health and resource usage, configure automated backups, and collaborate with team members.
  • Goletro connects to servers you own or are legally authorised to manage. You are solely responsible for the servers you connect, the applications you deploy, and any third-party services you integrate.
  • We provide over 400 one-click application templates for self-hosted software. Template availability and compatibility are not guaranteed. Goletro is not responsible for the functionality, security, or licensing compliance of third-party applications deployed via Goletro.
  • We reserve the right to add, modify, suspend, or remove features of Goletro with reasonable notice. We will not make changes that materially degrade core paid functionality without providing at least 30 days' notice.
  • Goletro requires network access from our platform to your servers (typically via SSH). You are responsible for configuring appropriate firewall rules and ensuring network connectivity.

Acceptable use

  • You agree to use Goletro only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations.
  • You may not use Goletro to deploy, host, or operate: malware, ransomware, spyware, phishing infrastructure, botnet command and control servers, cryptomining operations without lawful authorisation, child sexual abuse material (CSAM), or any other content or services that are illegal in your jurisdiction.
  • You may not use Goletro to send spam, unsolicited bulk email, or any communications that violate applicable anti-spam laws.
  • You may not attempt to gain unauthorised access to Goletro systems, other users' accounts, workspaces, or servers connected by other users.
  • You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of Goletro.
  • You may not use Goletro in a manner that imposes an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on our infrastructure, or that interferes with the performance or availability of the Service for other users.
  • You may not resell, sublicense, or provide access to Goletro as part of a competing server management product without a written reseller agreement with Goletro.
  • Violation of these acceptable use provisions may result in immediate suspension or permanent termination of your account without refund.

Subscriptions, payment, and billing

  • Goletro is available on a Free plan with limited features, and paid Starter, Pro, and Business plans. Plan features and pricing are described on the Goletro pricing page at goletro.com/pricing.
  • Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD) unless stated otherwise.
  • By subscribing, you authorise Goletro and its payment processor (Stripe) to charge your payment method for all fees associated with your chosen plan.
  • Annual subscriptions are billed upfront for the full year. Monthly subscriptions are billed at the start of each billing cycle.
  • Refunds: We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for new paid subscriptions. After 14 days, we do not provide refunds for partial months or remaining time on annual plans unless required by applicable consumer protection law.
  • If your payment fails, we will notify you by email and retry the charge. Accounts with failed payments may have their access downgraded or suspended after 7 days of non-payment.
  • You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until that date.
  • Goletro reserves the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' advance notice. Price changes will not apply until the start of your next billing period following the notice.
  • All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes. You are responsible for any taxes, duties, or levies imposed on your use of the Service in your jurisdiction.

Free plan and trial terms

  • The Free plan is available indefinitely and does not require a payment method. Free plan usage is subject to resource and feature limits as described on the pricing page.
  • Free plan limits may be adjusted by Goletro at any time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice before reducing Free plan limits that affect existing users.
  • Trial periods, promotional credits, or discounts are subject to any additional terms communicated at the time of the offer and are non-transferable.

Intellectual property

  • Goletro, including its software, design, trademarks, logos, and documentation, is the exclusive property of Goletro Technologies Pvt Ltd and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable intellectual property laws.
  • Goletro grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service solely for your own lawful purposes in accordance with these Terms.
  • You retain full ownership of all User Content you submit to Goletro. By connecting your servers and deploying applications through Goletro, you grant Goletro a limited licence to access and process your data solely to provide and improve the Service.
  • You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Goletro's platform or design without prior written permission from Goletro.
  • Feedback, feature requests, or suggestions you submit to us may be used by Goletro without any obligation to compensate you.

Data, privacy, and security

  • Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, available at goletro.com/privacy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
  • You retain ownership of all data you bring to Goletro, including server credentials, application configurations, and any content hosted on your servers.
  • You are solely responsible for the security and compliance of the applications you deploy and the servers you connect to Goletro. This includes keeping your servers patched, securing application credentials, and complying with data protection laws applicable to your users.
  • You must not store in Goletro, or deploy applications that process, any data that would require Goletro to act as a data processor under GDPR or equivalent laws, without entering into a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with us. Contact our contact page to request a DPA.
  • You are responsible for maintaining adequate backups of your server data. While Goletro provides backup automation features, Goletro does not guarantee data recovery and is not liable for data loss.

Uptime, availability, and SLA

  • We aim to maintain 99.9% availability of the platform (the web dashboard and API). Historical uptime data is published at status.goletro.com.
  • The platform availability guarantee does not cover the availability of your connected servers, applications deployed on your servers, or third-party services you use.
  • Service Level Agreement (SLA) with financial remedies (service credits) is available exclusively on Business plans. Starter and Pro plans do not include SLA commitments.
  • Scheduled maintenance windows are announced at least 48 hours in advance via the Goletro status page and email notification. Scheduled maintenance is excluded from uptime calculations.
  • Unplanned downtime caused by third-party infrastructure providers, force majeure events, DDoS attacks, or circumstances outside our reasonable control is excluded from SLA calculations.
  • To claim a service credit under the Business plan SLA, you must submit a request to our contact page within 7 days of the incident, with relevant details.

Third-party services and integrations

  • Goletro integrates with third-party services including cloud providers, DNS registrars, and application registries. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
  • Goletro is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, security, or compliance of any third-party services or open-source applications you deploy through Goletro.
  • Links to third-party websites from Goletro or our marketing site do not constitute an endorsement of those sites.

Limitation of liability

  • To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Goletro is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and title.
  • Goletro does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, completely secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, Goletro's total cumulative liability to you for any claims arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the total amount you paid to Goletro in the 12 months immediately preceding the claim.
  • In no event shall Goletro be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, loss of profits, loss of business, loss of goodwill, or loss of anticipated savings, even if Goletro has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
  • Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes Goletro's liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by applicable law.

Indemnification

  • You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Goletro Technologies Pvt Ltd and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:
  • Your use of the Service in violation of these Terms or any applicable law.
  • Your User Content, including any third-party intellectual property infringement.
  • Applications or services you deploy through Goletro that harm third parties.
  • Your negligence, wilful misconduct, or fraud.

Termination

  • You may terminate your account at any time by following the account deletion process in your account settings. Upon termination, your access to paid features will cease at the end of the current billing period.
  • Goletro may suspend or terminate your account immediately, with or without prior notice, if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if continued access poses a risk to Goletro or other users.
  • Goletro may discontinue the Service with at least 90 days' notice to paid subscribers. In the event of discontinuation, we will provide a pro-rated refund for any unused portion of a prepaid annual subscription.
  • Upon termination or expiry of your account: your access to Goletro will be revoked; your data will be deleted within 30 days in accordance with our Privacy Policy; certain data may be retained longer to satisfy legal obligations.
  • Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law — will survive.

Confidentiality

  • Each party agrees to keep confidential any non-public information disclosed by the other party in connection with the Service ("Confidential Information"), and to use it only to fulfil obligations under these Terms.
  • Confidential Information does not include information that: is or becomes publicly known without breach; was rightfully known before disclosure; is independently developed without use of the disclosing party's information; or must be disclosed by law or court order.

Governing law and dispute resolution

  • These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
  • Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms, or the breach, termination, or validity thereof, shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiations between the parties.
  • If a dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation within 30 days, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration administered under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 of India. The arbitration shall be conducted in Pune, Maharashtra, India, in English.
  • Notwithstanding the above, either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief from a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent or enjoin infringement of intellectual property rights.
  • If any provision of these Terms is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
  • Goletro's failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

Modifications to these Terms

  • Goletro reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide at least 14 days' notice of material changes via email or a prominent notice within the Goletro dashboard.
  • Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
  • If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using the Service and may terminate your account before the changes take effect.

Miscellaneous

  • Entire agreement: These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional terms for specific features, constitute the entire agreement between you and Goletro regarding the Service, and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
  • Assignment: You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without Goletro's prior written consent. Goletro may assign these Terms without restriction.
  • No agency: Nothing in these Terms creates any agency, partnership, joint venture, or employment relationship between you and Goletro.
  • Force majeure: Goletro will not be liable for any delay or failure to perform caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, power outages, telecommunications failures, or government actions.
  • Notices: Notices to Goletro should be sent to our contact page. Notices to you will be sent to the email address associated with your account.
